SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Over a period of 12 hours on March 28, staff from South Brunswick Public Works worked tirelessly to sanitize the entire police fleet and municipal vehicles in the township.
The new cleaner and disinfectant being employed kills illness-causing germs and bacteria on contact and keeps on self-sanitizing for up to one month, Police Chief Raymond Hayducka said in a prepared statement.
“There are a ton of local people who are making a difference in this battle against this virus, from the workers at the food stores to the delivery people, we are all in this together. I wanted to take a second to recognize all the behind the scenes people in the municipal workforce who are contributing. We have been in a nonstop race to contain the virus and stay ahead wherever possible. There have been long days and nights trying to ensure our community is as safe as possible,” said Hayducka, who is also the director of the South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management.
