Kelsey Theatre announces new dates for rescheduled productions

Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre has announced its contingency plans to finish out the 2019-20 production season.

The theater in West Windsor Township has moved “13 (the musical)” and “Parade” into its 2019-20 summer season, after the production of “Mamma Mia”.

“Mamma Mia” has a planned production run of July 25-Aug. 2 remains unchanged by Kelsey Theatre.

“Evita” will open the 2020-21 season (moved to Sept. 11-20), “33 Variations” (Nov. 6-15), “If/Then” (April 2021), “Two Gentlemen of Verona” (June 2021) and “Oliver” (set for summer of 2021).

“We plan to move ’33 Variations,’ ‘If/Then,’ ‘Two Gentlemen of Verona,’ ‘Evita’ and ‘Oliver’ into the 2020-21 season and once we have the appropriate approvals we will upload the season into the computer and will begin moving tickets,” Artistic Director M. Kitty Getlik said. “‘A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder’ will be moved into the 2021-22 season and Diana can move those tickets to a show credit that you can use for any show in 2020-21; we can issue a refund; or you can donate your tickets.”

According to the theater, Kelsey Awards has been moved to Aug. 8, “13” moved to Aug. 14-23, and “Parade” is scheduled for Aug. 28-Sept. 5.
