South Brunswick mother, daughter die 17 hours apart from COVID-19

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Two South Brunswick residents have died as a result of the novel coronavirus.

The two residents are a mother and daughter who passed away 17 hours apart, according to information provided by South Brunswick Township on April 7.

The daughter, age 33, was a lifelong resident and a graduate of South Brunswick High School. She died at her home at 5 p.m. on April 6.

Her 70-year-old mother passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick at 10:15 a.m. on April 7.

“It is with heavy hearts that we inform our community that two residents have died as a result of the coronavirus,” the statement read. “These are some of the most difficult days and we ask for everyone’s continued thoughts and prayers for all those impacted by the virus.”
