Monroe reports 18 new positive COVID-19 cases

MONROE – Monroe officials reported 18 new positive COVID-19 cases on April 8, bringing the total number of cases to 174, according to the Monroe Township Office of Emergency Management.

The age range of the cases are 25 to 93.

The cases include 11 females – a 25 year old, a 33 year old, a 50 year old, a 51 year old, a 61 year old, a 63 year old, 65 year old, a 70 year old, a 74 year old, a 76 year old, and a 93 year old.

And seven males – a 47 year old, a 51 year old, a 55 year old, a 57 year old, an 83 year old, and two 87 year olds.

The COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, will serve pre-registered patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drive-up patients from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Testing resumes on April 9.
