Edison reports 65 new cases of COVID-19, including one teen

EDISON – Edison officials report 65 new positive cases of COVID-19 on April 9, including one teen, according to the Edison Office of Emergency Management.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the township is 369. The age range of the cases are 15 to 88.

The cases include 23 females – two 20 year olds; two 23 year olds; a 26 year old; a 27 year old; a 31 year old; a 37 year old; a 38 year old; a 44 year old; a 46 year old; a 49 year old; two 54 year olds; a 57 year old; a 58 year old; a 60 year old; a 61 year old; a 63 year old; a 68 year old; two 69 year olds and an 87 year old.

And 40 males – a 15 year old; a 20 year old; a 23 year old; a 25 year old; a 26 year old; a 27 year old; a 28 year old; a 30 year old; a 31 year old; two 32 year olds; a 34 year old; a 36 year old; two 37 year olds; a 39 year old; a 41 year old; a 42 year old; two 45 year olds; two 47 year olds; a 48 year old; two 51 year olds; a 52 year old; a 54 year old; a 60 year old; a 64 year old; two 65 year olds; a 67 year old; a 68 year old; a 69 year old; a 71 year old; a 72 year old; a 74 year old; a 81 year old; an 88 year old; and a male with an unknown age.

Two residents were reported without a gender – a 51 year old and a 66 year old.

Edison Township was not provided any other information regarding the new cases.
