FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP – The 17th annual Freehold Township Day and Concert in the Park remains on the municipality’s schedule of events for July 11 (rain date, July 19).
The community celebration will take place at Michael J. Tighe Park, Georgia Road. The Veterans Community Alliance will host the event in partnership with Freehold Township.

Activities during Freehold Township Day will take place from 4-11 p.m., according to the Veterans Community Alliance. A classic car show will open to the public at 3 p.m.
The Township Committee has approved fireworks displays that have been planned for the evening.
