Monroe Township police nab ‘lop-eared egg-snatcher’ just in time for Easter Sunday

MONROE – Township police have nabbed the “lop-eared egg-snatcher” just in time for Easter Sunday.

A resident bravely attempted to apprehend the egg-snatcher spotted climbing into his Mill Lake Yard earlier in the week.

The suspect had eluded police and remained at large until April 11 when Police Sgt. Anthony Trohalides and Police Officer Joseph Vella took the “egg-snatcher” into custody.
