Monroe reports 29 new positive COVID-19 cases over holiday weekend

MONROE – Monroe officials reported 29 new positive COVID-19 cases over the holiday weekend, bringing the total number of cases to 265, according to the Monroe Township Office of Emergency Management.

The age range of the cases are from 25 to 97.

Nine cases were reported on April 11 – two males – a 38 year old and a 51 year old and seven females – a 25 year old, a 38 year old, a 41 year old, a 50 year old, a 64 year old, an 87 year old, and an 88 year old.

Nine cases were reported on April 12 – three males – a 36 year old, a 45 year old and a 66 year old and six females – a 27 year old, a 28 year old, a 45 year old, a 70 year old, a 73 year old and a 77 year old.

Eleven cases were reported on April 12 – five females – an 80 year old, two 85 year olds, a 91 year old and a 97 year old and six males – a 36 year old, a 37 year old, two 52 year olds, a 61 year old and a 75 year old.

The COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, will serve pre-registered patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drive-up patients from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Testing resumes on April 14.
