Monroe officials report 20 new positive COVID-19 cases, recognize local businesses and residents for PPE donations

MONROE – Monroe officials reported 20 new positive COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 383, according to the Monroe Township Office of Emergency Management on April 23.

The cases range in age from 23 to 100. The cases include 15 females – a 23 year old, a 29 year old, a 59 year old, an 81 year old, two 84 year olds, an 87 year old, a 91 year old, a 92 year old, a 95 year old, a 96 year old, a 97 year old, a 98 year old, a 99 year old, and a 100 year old. And five males – a 32 year old, 37 year old, a 61 year old, a 72 year old, and an 81 year old.

The COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at MyInstaDoc, 298 Applegarth Road, will serve pre-registered patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drive-up patients from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Testing resumes on April 25.
