Bordentown City reports no new cases of novel coronavirus; Bordentown Township reports two

BORDENTOWN – No new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported by Bordentown City on April 25 or 26, so the total remains steady at 16 residents who have tested positive as of April 27; there are two deaths total.

Bordentown Township reported one new case on April 25 and one new case on April 26, bringing the total number of residents testing positive to 52. There are three deaths total.

Across Burlington County there are 2,366 positive cases reported, 138 of which were newly reported on April 25 and 132 of which were reported on April 26, according to information provided by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders’ Office of Public Information on April 27. There are 100 deaths total.

The county has removed statistics on those patients who have been cleared from quarantine in order to incorporate new recommendations from the New Jersey Department of Health on how to log cases, according to the statement.
