Property tax grace period extended for Helmetta residents

At a special meeting held on May 6, the Helmetta mayor and council approved a resolution that allows property tax payers in the borough to have an extended grace period for the May 1 property tax bill until June 1.

This change is permitted by Executive Order No. 130 from Gov. Phil Murphy and applies only to the May 1, 2020, tax bill.
