Edison new COVID-19 cases below 10, Edison police donate more than 200 lunches to frontline heroes

Members of the patrol bureau of the Edison Police Department donated more than 200 lunches from Sub Central in Edison to nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals at JFK Medical Center on May 8.

EDISON – Edison officials reported seven new positive cases of COVID-19 on May 8, bringing the total number of cases to 1,570, according to the Edison Office of Emergency Management.

The age range of the cases are 46 to 92, officials said. The township has lost 124 residents to COVID-19, according to Middlesex County.

Members of the patrol bureau of the Edison Police Department, donated more than 200 lunches from Sub Central in Edison to nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals at JFK Medical Center on May 8.

Edison Township was not provided any other information regarding the new cases.
