SOUTH BRUNSWICK – For the second time in the past week, South Brunswick was notified by the Middlesex County Health Department that no additional South Brunswick residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, leaving the current number of cases at 386 as of May 11.

Although this is a significant metric in demonstrating progress, officials cautioned the community that the numbers fluctuate day-to-day, and it is not time to relax the guard.

“It is because of our community’s efforts that we are reducing the number of cases. We need to continue to use caution, follow and maintain proper social distance guidelines, and wash our hands often and well to reach a point where we beat this thing,” Mayor Charles Carley said in a prepared statement. “Keep up the good work. We are making progress.”
