Edison new COVID-19 cases below 10, municpal tennis courts reopen May 13

EDISON – Edison officials reported nine new positive cases of COVID-19 on May 12, bringing the total number of cases to 1,620, according to the Edison Office of Emergency Management.

The age range of the cases are 29 to 86, officials said. The township has lost 144 residents to COVID-19, according to Middlesex County.

The township, which reopened its parks on May 2, announced it is reopening all municipal owned tennis courts effective May 13.

Edison Township was not provided any other information regarding the new cases.
