Bringing smiles and support while minding social distancing restrictions, the Spotswood Office on Aging and Senior Center has been using caravan tours to keep up morale amongst its patrons.

NAMI NJ (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will continue its webinar series with a presentation by Dale L. Ofei-Ayisi at 1 p.m. on May 27 titled “Staying Senior-Tough During the COVID-19 Crisis and Beyond.”

Older Americans are among the most medically vulnerable populations being impacted by COVID-19, especially those in long-term care settings. This webinar will explore some of the unique physical, social and psychological challenges faced by over adults during the pandemic, and will offer some suggestions on how seniors and their family caregivers can maximize their skills and abilities to help survive and thrive during and beyond the crisis.
