Edison new COVID-19 cases rise, township loses five more residents

EDISON – Edison officials reported 19 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 1,780, according to the Edison Office of Emergency Management on May 30.

The age range of the cases are 14 to 99. The township has lost 190 residents to COVID-19, according to Middlesex County.

The township has resumed the collection of cardboard from outside of the recycling container on regular recycling days.

Edison Township was not provided any other information regarding the new cases.
