East Brunswick police chief warns of potential retaliation actions toward police supporters

EAST BRUNSWICK–The East Brunswick Police Department received information of possible retaliatory actions against police supporters on May 31, Chief of Police Frank LoSacco said.

The department had not yet confirmed the information but did in fact advise police personnel to be vigilant during their patrols, according to LoSacco.

LoSacco said unfortunately, this information was disseminated to the public without approval. There was one reported incident of harassment which is being investigated by the department’s Investigative Division.

“As always, the East Brunswick Police Department thanks the community for their unwavering support and will continue to serve East Brunswick township with honor, integrity and public trust,” LoSacoo said in the statement.
