Meter replacement program resumes in North Brunswick

Issues with how an environmental services company tested for lead in the Hillsborough Township Public School District’s water has raised some concerns with officials

The meter replacement program has resumed in North Brunswick.

Customers who did not have their meter replaced prior to the COVID-19 pandemic will be receiving a new letter in the mail from InLine Services, Inc. The letter will provide a PIN to schedule an appointment at either http://ilsmeter.com/ or by calling 1-800-557-3088.

Also included in the letter will be a notice outlining COVID-19 safety procedures to be followed before and during the water meter replacement appointment.

If residents do not wish to wait for the letter and would like to schedule an appointment, InLine Services is taking appointments by phone at 1-800-557-3088.

All InLine Services employees with have a photo ID badge and drive clearly marked company vehicles. Do not allow any technician into your home without presenting a company photo ID and driving a clearly marked vehicle.

In addition, during the June 1 Township Council meeting, Councilwoman Amanda Guadagnino said the new website is almost ready, and will include daily water usage statistics, alerts if a household goes over its water limit, and online bill pay.
