Ronald Kulka

Ronald Kulka, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4th, 2020.

He was a resident of Old Bridge for 54 years.

Ron was originally from New York City, where he worked in the printing industry. He later was a self-employed businessman and was involved in many different international projects, including the International Olympic Committee and as Ambassador of State for economic development to the Netherlands, under Gov. Byrne in the 1970s.

“Big Ron” was a proud US Army Veteran and graduate of NYU. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty years, Ina, and by his identical twin brother Gerald. He is survived by his son Dr. Gary Kulka, and his daughter, Gina Schottle, father-in-law to Natalia and Karl Heinz, grandchildren Charlie and Elizaveta, and proud uncle to Lisa, Lauri, David, Petra, and Claus Dieter, and grand uncle to their children.

Ron will be missed by his family and the many friends who he touched with his wit and humor. The family will announce a celebration of Ron’s life later due to the pandemic.
