Ashley Kafton of Jackson has graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.

Quadajiah Fitch of Jackson has received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. She was named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester. Quadajiah was a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and majored in English and creative writing.

Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester: Charles Dowling of Howell, an education major in the Class of 2021, and Abigail Reist of Jackson, a marketing major in the Class of 2023.

Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa., announced that Janessa Ternosky of Howell and Abigail Vallaster of Jackson have been named to the dean’s honors list for the 2020 semester.

William Meriney of Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in ecology from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa., on May 13, 2020. William is a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School.

Josh Osowiecki of Jackson has earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa. A ceremony is planned for Oct. 24, 2020 on Moravian’s Main Street campus.

Nicholas C. Chinn of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring session at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa.

Peter Baker of Howell has been named to the Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, N.H., Winter 2020 president’s list (GPA between 3.7 and 4.0). The winter term runs from January to May.

Olivia Yalden of Jackson was named to the College of Charleston, S.C., Spring 2020 president’s list (minimum 3.8 GPA). Olivia is majoring in exercise science.

The following students from Howell were named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn., for spring 2020: Heather Paul and Cassondra Runko.
