Marlboro Police Beat, July 22

Marlboro Police Capt. Stephen Levy has reported that officers from the Marlboro Police Department have arrested and charged three men who were allegedly involved in auto thefts and residential and vehicle burglaries that occurred in Marlboro during the summer of 2019.

Levy said that following an investigation, police arrested a 24-year-old male resident of Newark and charged him with 22 counts of burglary, six counts of theft, one count of receiving stolen property and one count of obstruction; a 19-year-old male resident of Newark and charged him with six counts of burglary, two counts of theft, one count of receiving stolen property and one count of obstruction; and a 23-year-old male resident of Newark and charged him with one count of theft and two counts of burglary.

The Marlboro Police Department assisted the U.S. Marshals Task Force with the arrest of two suspects. The third suspect was already incarcerated on charges that did not pertain to Marlboro.

Two suspects were placed in the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, according to Levy.

The Marlboro detectives who were involved in the case were Detective Sgt. Jon Gramcko, Detective Edward Ungrady and Detective Michael Pecoraro.
