OLD BRIDGE – In times of uncertainty, Elmo, the furry red monster from Sesame Street, came to bring some joy to the children in the Central Park development.

Dorit Yehudai said the Central Park development has been a wonderful place to live and raise their children and grandchildren.

“We have lived in the same house for almost 30 years and wanted to show the children in our development a few minutes of fun and excitement,” she said.

Yehudai had posted the Elmo idea on social media and her son-in-law Jason Marcus made it happen. He purchased an Elmo suit and the family drove around throwing candy for the children in the development.

“During this time of [the novel coronavirus pandemic] as well as other unnecessary hate we thought it would be a good time to simply spread the love,” she said.
