Fatal fire at Inman Avenue home in Edison deemed non-suspicious

EDISON – A 72-year-old woman died in a fire at an Inman Avenue home, according to Police Lt. Robert Dudash.

The Edison Fire Department responded after a passerby reported seeing a fire on the side of the home at 6:58 a.m. on July 27.

The woman was found deceased in a second floor bedroom, Dudash said.

Officials are calling the fire non-suspicious.
