The Sayreville Water Department is currently experiencing widespread power outages in the area of its well fields and treatment plant.
These power outages are prohibiting the plant from producing water at this time, according to information provided around 11:30 a.m. Aug. 5.
There should be no interruption of service but residents should limit water consumption to essential use only through Aug. 8.
