Children, adults enjoy ice pops with cops at Roosevelt Park

The Edison Police Department held "Have an Ice Pop with an Edison Cop" at Roosevelt Park on July 30.

EDISON – Children as well as adults enjoyed ice pops and camaraderie from the Edison Police Department.

The Edison Police Department held “Have an Ice Pop with an Edison Cop” on July 30 at Roosevelt Park near the children’s playground by the lake.

Sam’s Club donated 500 ice pops and the Pines Manor provided water and support for the program.

Police Lt. Robert Dudash Jr. said officers handed out approximately 150 ice pops. The department expects to hold another event soon.
