Spotswood Rec to provide free Italian ices on Aug. 11

SCOTT FRIEDMAN — Chad Listner enjoys a frozen treat as Dee Whitman teaches the finer points of making granitas (Italian ice) and paletas (Mexican popsicles) as the South Brunswick Library presents Dee's Kitchen Lab on Aug 10.

Spotswood Recreation SummerFest continues with Italian Ice Night.

Drive by Spotswood High School on Summerhill Road at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11 to pick up a treat, courtesy of the Spotswood Recreation Department.

Rain or shine, while supplies last.
