MONROE – Forsgate Country Club congratulates Justin Rohrig on being named by the New Jersey PGA Section as the 2020 Assistant Golf Professional of the Year; and Frank Esposito on winning the 24th MGA Senior Open Championship, which was contested recently at New Jersey’s Essex County Country Club.

Both Rohrig and Esposito are part of Forsgate’s golf staff.

“Forsgate Country Club is fortunate to have a deeply talented staff of dedicated golf professionals,” Carolyn McKenzie Andrews, Forsgate’s director of golf, said in a prepared statement. “Justin, our first assistant, deserves the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year award as he’s a tireless worker and devoted to the game and our club members. Frank is having another great competitive year in spite of the reduced state and regional tournament schedules and we’re all so proud of his amazing record.”

Esposito currently is ranked No. 1 in the race for NJ PGA Section Senior Player of the Year. Also, in August, he finished second in the New Jersey Senior PGA Professional Championship, which qualified him for the national 2020 Senior PGA Professional Championship that will be contested in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Oct. 15-18. Additionally, Esposito won the Assistant/Open Stroke Play tournament at Metedeconk on Aug. 31.
