Monroe Township to sound alarms at 8:46 a.m. Sept. 11 in honor of lives lost in 2001

PHOTOS BY KATHY CHANG/STAFF — Monroe held a Sept. 11 ceremony at the Monroe Township Memorial Tree Park on the morning of Sept. 11.

In honor and remembrance of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, sirens will be sounding throughout Monroe Township at 8:46 a.m. Sept. 11.

There is no emergency, do not be alarmed.
