NJBIZ recognizes Ida Bormentar in its 2020 awards for Best 50 Women in Business

Ida Bormentar, executive director for the Mercer County office of Community Options, Inc., was recently named as one of the Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ for 2020.

Community Options is a national nonprofit that provides housing and employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Recipients of this award represent New Jersey’s best in leadership, decision-making, trendsetting and forward thinking. Honorees were recognized at a virtual ceremony held on Sept. 21, according to a press release.

“We are so proud of Ida (Bormentar) for this tremendous achievement,” said Robert Stack, president and CEO of Community Options. “Her commitment to service is an inspiration to all of us and she is truly deserving of this recognition.”

Bormentar joined Community Options in 2014 and manages operations and development throughout Mercer County. Community Options supports over 60 individuals in small, community-based homes in Mercer County.

“It is truly an honor to be selected for this award,” Bormentar said. “My work is my passion and I am so grateful for the opportunity to dedicate my career to improving the lives of people with disabilities.”
