Mazza Recycling, Tinton Falls, recently held a grand opening ceremony for a new single-stream recycling facility. There were speeches and a ribbon cutting by President James Mazza, Vice President Dominick Mazza, and Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone.

Mazza Recycling’s 55-acre recycling center houses the 70,000-square-foot facility. There were tours of the facility and a turnout of about 150 guests from Monmouth County municipalities.

All of the guests in attendance, including state Sen. Vin Gopal, Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling and members of the Board of Freeholders, showed their support for Mazza’s effort to increase recycling across the region.

The event allowed Mazza to provide local recycling coordinators with continuing education credits toward their recycling careers, with help from Assistant District Recycling Coordinator Jaye Sims.

The day was also made possible due to the efforts of Mazza’s team, including Christian Morgan, Chris Bergacs, Casandra Maggio, Kevin Boyle, Chris Noonan, Juan Velazquez, Brynn Mosello and many more.
