Borough Council members in Freehold Borough have approved the renewal of alcoholic beverage licenses from Oct. 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.

Plenary retail distribution licenses were issued to Gusaiji Inc. (Freehold Liquor and Convenience Store) and Maha Prabhuji Inc. (Freehold Spirit Shoppe).

Club licenses were issued to B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1454, American Legion Monmouth Post No. 54, Columbian Club and Walter J. Conley Elks Lodge No. 1379.

Plenary retail consumption licenses were issued to J&G Innkeepers Inc. (Olde Court Jester), Frank Federici and Sons Inc., FR Park Food Service Inc. Table 33, LLC (618) and KMK Hospitality Inc. (Metropolitan Cafe).

Plenary retail consumption licenses with broad package privilege were issued to Norkash, LLC (Max’s Beer, Wine and Liquor) and Borough Tavern, LLC.

Council members approved Mayor Kevin Kane’s appointment of Walter Greason to the Freehold Borough Human Relations Committee (term expires Dec. 31).

Finally, Kane appointed Emily Conley and John Hein to the Historic Preservation Advisory Commission, and Caridad Argote-Freyre and Brianne Kozlowski to the Planning Board. Each appointment will expire on Dec. 31.
