The Middlesex County Center for Empowerment is offering the following workshops:

“Race, Culture, Identity & Sexual Violence: Workshop for Survivors of Color” will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 24 via Microsoft Teams.

Race, culture and identity are deeply connected to the experiences of survivors of sexual violence. People of Color have unique strengths and can also face additional barriers throughout the healing process.

To RSVP, call 732-321-1189 or email empowerment@co.middlesex.nj.us

VCCO Training will be held by Kathy Yuill at 11 a.m. Oct. 29 via Microsoft Teams.

Victims of Crime Compensation (VCCO) provides compensation to victims of violent crimes for expenses that occur as a result of the crime. Learn who is eligible, what is covered, and how to help clients with the application process.

VCCO can be a resource to your clients to receive compensation for mental health expenses, as well as other costs. Discuss how to become a mental health provider with VCCO and recent changes to the law.

RSVP to The Center for Empowerment at empowerment@co.middlesex.nj.us to receive the link to attend, or call 732-321-1189 with any questions.
