Teacher from Princeton receives University of Chicago’s Outstanding Educator Award

Dr. Reid Cottingham of Princeton is a recipient of The University of Chicago’s Outstanding Educator Award.

Cottingham is the director of Teaching and Learning, K-12, and an Upper School English Teacher at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge.

For more than 30 years, students accepted to The University of Chicago have had the opportunity to reflect on their time in high school and nominate an educator who played a significant role in their education, made a positive impact in their lives, and whose influence has brought them to where they are today, according to information provided by The Pingry School. Cottingham was selected by Kaya Lee of Pingry’s Class of 2020.
