Monroe Township Library remains closed after employee tests positive for COVID

The Monroe Township Library will remain closed, including the book return drop box.

Late fees will not be charged during this time.

Township officials were informed late Nov. 3 of a library employee who tested positive for COVID-19, preempting plans to resume curbside pick-up operations on Nov. 4.

 

The employee, who last worked on Oct. 28, had reported a significant exposure to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19, according to information released on Oct. 30.

 

The library will remain closed while the additional testing, notifications and contact tracing is underway.
