Robilotti, Mann, Francisco will retain Englishtown council seats

ENGLISHTOWN – Incumbent Republicans Eric Mann, Cecilia Robilotti and Daniel Francisco have won new terms on the Englishtown Borough Council.

According to results posted online by the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office, as of Nov. 18, Mann received 628 votes and Robilotti received 624 votes in the Nov. 3 election for two available three-year terms on the governing body.

The Republicans turned back a challenge from Democrats Steven Bloom and Arun Swami, who, according to the clerk’s office, received 454 votes and 421 votes, respectively, as of Nov 18.

Francisco ran unopposed for a one-year, unexpired term on the governing body. As of Nov. 18, he received 779 votes, according to the clerk’s office.

The results of the election will remain unofficial until they have been certified by the county.

Republicans hold all six council seats and the mayor’s office in Englishtown. Francisco, Mann and Robilotti are joined on the council by Maryanne Krawiec, Dan Marter and Gregory Wojyn, with Thomas Reynolds serving as mayor.

Mann joined the council in 2016 when he was appointed to fill a vacant seat. In November 2016, he won a one-year unexpired term to serve during 2017. In November 2017, he was elected to serve a full term from 2018-20. Mann has served on the Shade Tree Commission. He has lived in Englishtown for more than seven years.

Robilotti has been a resident of Englishtown since 1998. She joined the governing body in 2006. Before retiring eight years ago, Robilotti worked in the hospice field for more than 20 years.

Francisco lived in Manalapan before moving to Englishtown three years ago. He was appointed to the Borough Council in 2019 to fill a vacant seat. During his professional career, Francisco has worked as a commodity sales manager and in political journalism.
