Funeral services arranged for North Brunswick Airman Richard Samaroo

North Brunswick resident, Airman Richard Samaroo, passed away while serving in the United States Air Force in Korea on Nov. 2. Samaroo was a 2017 graduate of North Brunswick Township High School.

Viewing services will be held this evening, Thursday, Nov. 19, from 5-9 p.m. at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset.

Tomorrow morning, Friday, Nov. 20, a funeral procession to the Brig. General BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown is scheduled to pass through North Brunswick along Cozzens Lane at 9 a.m.

Residents may show their respects to Samaroo by joining as the procession passes Cozzens Lane in the area of Sabella Park. Be stationed on Cozzens Lane prior to 9 a.m.

Representatives of the North Brunswick Police Department, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Affairs, the North Brunswick Fire Department and the North Brunswick First Aid and Rescue Squad will be present for this solemn moment.

Everyone will observe safe distance standards and make sure that everyone has a safe place to stand off of the roadway.
