MILLSTONE – Republicans Michael McLaughlin and Christopher Morris have won three-year terms on the Township Committee in Millstone Township.

Two Republicans, one Democrat and one independent candidate sought the two available terms in the Nov. 3 election.

According to results posted online by the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office, as of Nov. 18 and with almost 100% of the ballots counted, Morris, with 4,163 votes, and McLaughlin, with 3,548 votes, had defeated Democrat Ray Dothard, 1,992 votes, and independent candidate Tony Arpaia, 2,099 votes.
