North Brunswick man charged in stabbing at Crescent Apartments

NORTH BRUNSWICK – A North Brunswick man has been charged with the stabbing of a man in the area of the North Brunswick Crescent Apartments.

Bryan Hinton-Ollivierre, 27, has been charged with one count of first degree attempted murder and one count of second degree aggravated assault, according to information provided on Dec. 1 by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Deputy Chief Joseph Battaglia of the North Brunswick Township Police Department.

On Nov. 30, the victim was driven to a nearby hospital for treatment for a significant stab wound they sustained to their upper torso.

Hinton-Ollivierre was charged following an investigation conducted by Detective Sean Gaither of the North Brunswick Police Department and Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, which determined Hinton-Ollivierre had allegedly stabbed the victim during an altercation in front of 1206 Crescent Court, according to the statement.

Hinton-Ollivierre is currently being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center pending a detention hearing.
