METUCHEN – Mayor Jonathan Busch warns of post-holiday spike in COVID-19 cases after reporting 13 new cases in one day.

“We began the month of December with 281 cases and we are now at 510 total cases,” he said in a social media post on Jan. 2. “Let’s be clear, we all know what needs to be done and we are not doing enough of it. We all want to be with friends and family outside of our household, but those are the very interactions that spread the virus. We need to make better choices.”
