SAYREVILLE – The Sayreville Republican Municipal Committee reorganized at its
December meeting, filling the position of chair and vice chair.
The committee unanimously elected Councilwoman Donna Roberts as chair
and Karen Bailey Bebert to a vacant vice chair position, according to information provided by the Sayreville GOP.
Chairman Arthur Rittenhouse and secretary Rosetta Fisher stepped down from their posts. Rittenhouse served seven years, while Fisher served for 15.
However, both will remain active with the committee as county committeeman and committeewoman, respectively, according to the statement.
Rittenhouse is chair of the Sayreville Shade Tree Commission and president of the Sayreville Historical Society. Fisher serves on the Sayreville Economic Redevelopment
Agency (SERA) and is an active volunteer with EPIC Church.
