Pinnacle Home Care Solutions recently opened its doors as a local resource for individuals searching for caregiving support for activities of daily living.

Pinnacle Home Care Solutions is a full-service home care company specializing in providing elderly and disabled individuals with caregiving services in both a home and community setting.

Owner/operator Keith Shevlin has more than 20 years’ experience working in the home healthcare industry in a variety of areas including geriatrics, pediatrics, Medicaid, Medicare, home therapy, hospice, non-medical care, nursing care, corporate environments and organic start-ups, according to information provided by the company.

He opened Pinnacle Home Care Solutions at 475 Wall St., Princeton, to provide a refreshing alternative to the assembly line approach that often takes place in home healthcare.

“Instead of focusing on delivering quality care and employing quality caregivers, many home care companies define success by servicing as many clients as they can when they are not prepared or equipped to do it successfully,” Shevlin said in the statement. “Our goal is to provide care in a responsible and transparent way. Our success is not defined by being the biggest provider in our market, our success is defined by being the best.”

As the need for private duty home care has increased and the industry continues to grow, many home care providers have flooded the market in recent years.

“We want the client to be an active participant in the selection process in a variety of ways prior to starting service,” Shevlin said in the statement. “The more methodical we are on the front end of starting care, the more successful we are in avoiding challenges after service is initiated.”
