The North Brunswick We Remember Committee, which is a subcommittee of the Wreaths Across America Committee, will sponsor a community service event from 10-11 a.m. Jan. 18 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Sherwood Boulevard, off Route 27, North Brunswick.
The community service project, for the National Day of Service, will consist of a cleanup of the park, along with preparing a location for a time capsule with artifacts from 2021.
Registration is required since only a limited number of volunteers will be permitted in accordance with the safety guidelines set by Gov. Phil Murphy’s Executive Orders on outside events.
Masks and social distancing mandatory.
To register, call 908-307-3260.
