NAMI In Our Own Voice is a National Alliance on Mental Illness program for community education and reducing stigma, as trained volunteers share their lived experience of mental health recovery: “What Happened” to them, “What Helps” them, and “What’s Next” for them.
This is a presentation NAMI gives more than 200 times a year to a wide variety of audiences.
Email ioov@naminj.org to schedule a presentation at a school, PTA, congregation, town, support group or professional training.
The next session in English is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. Feb. 4.
The presentation in Spanish, En Nuestra Propia Voz De NAMI, will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 18.
