Some side streets have packed snow and need extra caution. Travel can be done at reduced speeds. Motorists need to be mindful of snowbanks that may obstruct views at intersections, according to the statement.

Make sure vehicles are cleared of snow before starting to travel. Residents should leave extra time for their morning commute as conditions on other roadways outside of the township may not be as clear, according to the statement.

Watch for any refreezing at night.

South Brunswick saw an average of 11.5 inches of snow from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2.

No power outages were reported from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.

Republic Services resumed regular operations Feb. 3. All of Monday’s and Tuesday’s material will be collected next week on their regular day. For more information, call the Garbage and Recycling Department at 732-329-4000, ext 7274.
