South River covered by 20 inches of snow after Nor’easter hits N.J.

SOUTH RIVER–With this year’s Nor’easter causing road closings, the Borough of South River received 18-20 inches of snow Feb. 1-2, according to police.

Sgt. Edwin Yorek said according to the borough’s Road Department, the total approximate snow fall was 18-20 inches.

In related news, the Township of East Brunswick received 14 inches of snow after the Nor’easter hit the state.

“After speaking with the Office of Emergency Management, the total snowfall for East Brunswick was 14 inches,” Police Lt. Frank Sutter said.
