Brandywine Living at Princeton was chosen in honor of the recently launched national campaign #AdoptAGrandparent by balloon professionals around the globe.

Drea Potocny, owner and lead artist of Princeton Events Co., rounded up volunteers on Feb. 27 to bring smiles to the senior residents, according to information provided by Stephanie Gaber, Escapades producer at Brandywine.

Each Brandywine resident received a happy face Balloon Buddy plus a special poem.

Some of the local business sponsors include Annie Isaacson, anager of Sakrid Coffee Roasters; Mike Valcacel, owner of Locomotion; and Tony Kanterakis of Local Greek.

“We understand the importance of uplifting the human spirit during these trying times and we look forward to delivering hope and joy in the form of balloon gifts to Brandywine’s wonderful residents sponsored entirely by the community,” Potocny said in the statement.
