Princeton Police blotter

A man was struck in the head with a glass bottle and kicked in the face by two men in an assault that occurred on Witherspoon Street. The two men reportedly fled the area. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment as a result of the incident, which was reported at 9:29 p.m. March 20.

A painting valued at $14,000 was reportedly stolen from a victim during a move from Princeton to San Diego, California. The theft was reported at 9:16 a.m. March 24.

A police officer attempted to stop the driver of a white sport utility vehicle after he reportedly saw the driver operating the vehicle in a reckless manner. The driver failed to stop and continued to travel at a high rate of speed. At that point, the officer stopped the pursuit, which occurred at 11:35 p.m. March 26.

A 23-year-old Trenton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-car accident on Riverside Drive at 1:07 a.m. March 27. She was released to the custody of another adult.

Vandals smashed the glass to the door of the snack stand located at Grover Park. The act of vandalism was reported at 3:16 p.m. March 28.

A shoplifter stole clothing worth $363 from a store on Nassau Street. The shoplifting incident was reported at 12:20 p.m. March 17.
