Columbiettes sell coffee cakes to fundraise for North Brunswick rescue squad

Janet Pinto, president of the Our Lady of Peace Columbiettes of North Brunswick, left, and Nancy Kuchler, right, present a donation check and cakes to Amit Athavale, center, president of the North Brunswick First Aid and Rescue Squad, from money raised through the Columbiettes’ efforts selling “My Grandma’s Coffee Cakes” to church parishioners as well as the North Brunswick community. The rescue squad was chosen as the recipient because of their response to the overwhelming number of emergency calls in the community during this past pandemic year.
