Kentucky Derby full card wagering and advance betting available at Monmouth Park

OCEANPORT – Monmouth Park will offer full card wagering this weekend for the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks programs, with advance betting for Saturday’s (May 1) 147th Kentucky Derby card available starting at noon on April 30.

First race post time is 10:30 a.m. for the 13-race Kentucky Oaks card on April 30 and the 14-race Kentucky Derby card on May 1, according to a press release from Monmouth Park.

Wagering will be available starting at 10:15 a.m. both days, with the Clubhouse gates opening at 10 a.m. Parking and admission is free.

In addition to the Clubhouse 1 stand, the Paddock Bar and William Hill Bar being open on May 1, the Lady’s Secret Café will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-ups on Derby day.

Post time for the Kentucky Oaks is scheduled for 5:51 p.m. April 30. The Kentucky Derby has a scheduled post time of 6:57 p.m. May 1.

Additionally, the Monmouth Park gift shop will be open on May 1 from 12:30-7:30 p.m. Located on the first floor of the Grandstand, the gift shop will be selling official Kentucky Derby merchandise and a wide range of racing-related items.

William Hill sports betting hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. Gates for William Hill sports betting open at 9 a.m.

Monmouth Park will kick off its 76th season of live racing with four straight racing days over Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31. The 53-day meet, which runs through Sept. 26, will offer 46 stakes races (10 graded) worth $6.15 million.

The $1 million TVG.com Haskell Stakes, which headlines a stakes-filled program on July 17, again serves as the centerpiece of the meet, according to the press release.
