“Angela is a star of the department, creating thoughtful and innovative works in all of her studio classes,” Susan Altman, fine arts professor and assistant chair of the Visual, Performing and Media Arts Department at Middlesex College, said in a prepared statement. “As an artist, Angela’s work has strong skills and is innovative in its ideas. She is always willing to experiment and try new ideas, and challenge herself to grow as an artist. Art makes you think, and Angela has the ability to take an idea and explore all possibilities for execution. Her ideation in her preliminary sketches is exemplary, looking at all possibilities, and exploring numerous ways to approach the subject. We are impressed with her ability to receive feedback on her work, internalize it, synthesize it and use it to improve.”
